Terms and Hours

Our schedule will generally follow that of the Hood River County School District.

 

School starts at 8:20am and ends at 3:25pm.

 

We will allow students to leave early to travel to Hood River Middle School for after-school activities (sports, drama, music, etc.).

 

Mondays are our outdoor adventure days, with students engaging in a variety of curricular and adventurous endeavors such as stream studies, cultural field trips, trips to OMSI, sailing, hiking, and much more. We utilize an eight acre outdoor campus just five minutes west of Hood River where most of these days will be spent.

Tuesday through Fridays are typically spent on campus, although some of the electives will have students travel locally to the waterfront park, the climbing gym, or mentoring at Bright Beginnings.

 

In the event of an emergency, families will receive updates via Bloomz.  We also utilize Flash Alert for emergency and weather-related closures (subscriptions are FREE and can be pushed to your email or phone).
